HandScanning Goal Compliance

Compliance is defined as the total number of verified handwashes recorded divided by the expected handwashing total. To view and edit daily handwashing goals for locations, click here.

Daily Compliance = Verified Handwashes / Daily Handwashing Goal

Below are explanations of the five different Compliance Graphs available for your account. To access them, click the Hand Scanning tab on the left-hand menu bar, then select "Goal Compliance", as shown above.

Handwashing Compliance by Location

• 📍 Y-Axis: Represents each selected location’s progress toward its individual goal.
• 📍 X-Axis: Displays the locations included in your selected filter.
• 🔵 Colored Circles: Indicate the compliance rate for each location by day.
• ➖ Red Line: Represents the average compliance rate across the selected date range.

🔍 Interpreting the Data

I this example, 5 stores were selected, each shown over a 7-day period. Each store's position on the Y-axis is relative to its specific goal.

For example:

• 🏬 Store 1 could have a daily goal of 100 scans. Meaning if the red line is hovering around 25% they averaged roughly 25 scans per day.

• 🏬 Store 2 (highlighted store), showing an average compliance rate of 84.32%, may have had a daily goal of 200 scans—so it averaged around 169 scans/day over the week.

📈 This visualization helps you quickly compare daily and average compliance performance across multiple locations, accounting for their individual goals.

Average Handwashing Compliance by Location

• 📈 Trend Line:
  Represents a snapshot of the selected date range, showing whether handwashing totals are  is trending upward 🔼, neutral ➖, or downward 🔽.

• 🎯 Average Daily Goal: Locations expected daily handwashing goal set 

• 📊 Average Max/Min Compliance:
  Displays color-coded compliance based on performance:

• • 🔴 Red: Below 50%

  • 🟢 Green: Between 50% and 90%

  • 🟦 Blue: 100% or higher

The three bar graphs below display Total Handwashes vs Expected Handwashes across three filters:

📝 Graph Behavior Notes:

• The graphs aggregate data from all selected locations to calculate composite compliance.
  (e.g., If you select multiple stores, the totals and expectations are combined.)

• ✅ Use Case Example: A District Manager can quickly view compliance across 5 stores on Thursdays to spot trends or issues by day for a region. 

📍 Want to focus on a single store?  

• Simply select that store from the filter options to see its individual contribution.
