Installing RFID Reader for PathSpot HandScanner

Step 1. Clean area next to scanner to mount card reader.

Step 2. Peel sticker on the back of the RFID card reader.    

Step 3. Mount the reader next the the scanner by firmly pressing the unit on the cleaned area.

 

Note: Depending on the type of wall you are mounting to, it may be better to mount to the side of the PathSpot HandScanner instead of the wall, as some walls don't allow for proper adhesion. 


Step 4. Remove power from the PathSpot HandScanner    

Step 5. Connect power adapter from the wall into the RFID card reader (1). Then plug the cord from the RFID reader, back into the PathSpot HandScanner (2).
