Task List Completion Reports

PathSpot offers configurable, real-time completion reports that automatically send confirmations and detailed report content to selected stakeholders as soon as a task list is completed. These reports include quick-access hyperlinks that allow teams to drill into specific tasks and lists for deeper visibility and follow-up.

These reports are often paired with our Task List Reminder alert (learn more here), which automatically notifies assigned users when a list is approaching its deadline and remains incomplete.

Together, these tools create greater visibility, accountability, and consistency across your most critical operational processes.

Option 1: Assigned Checklist Completion Reports

  • This option allows you to send completion reports based on the specific assignments (occurrences of a list)

✅ Best for when you need high precision over who receives which reports.

EXAMPLE:
If a checklist is assigned for 🍳 Breakfast, 🥪 Lunch, and 🍽️ Dinner, you can choose to send reports for only Breakfast and Lunch, and exclude Dinner at specific locations for certain users.

  • 🕔 “I want the Night Manager at Justin's Taco Stand to receive the Dinner Cleaning Checklist ONLY at the the Downtown & Midtown Locations but NOT the waterfront location.

Option 2: Default Recipient Completion Reports

This option means that any time the checklist is assigned, the recipient will automatically receive the completion report, regardless of the assignment details i.e. location (if there are multiple) times ect.

USE CASES:

  • Monthly Audits – Used when a team needs confirmation that critical checklists are being completed, such as ensuring IT-related items are properly maintained and up to date.
  • LTOs (Limited Time Offers) – For lists to manage one-off promotions or initiatives that have not yet been assigned but will need to be completed on an individual basis for a select period of time.
  • Daily Critical Tasks – Covers operational tasks such as daily bank deposits, which are often assigned ad hoc at the end of the day. This would be an ideal report for the accounting team to subscribe to, ensuring stores are completing deposits accurately and on time.
