Care Guide for PathSpot Temperature Sensors
Your PathSpot LoRaWAN sensors are made to resist backoff house operations and unit conditions. But like all electronics, there are a couple of simple caring guides to make sure your unit lasts several years.
- Do not power wash the sensors.
- Make sure to not submerge the sensor in water.
- Keep your sensor in an area where it is not susceptible to impact.
- Although your sensor can withstand a wide range of temperatures, it should be kept within the range of
-40ΒΊF and 240ΒΊF. - If you are using a probe to monitor temperatures, make sure the cable is not pinched by any doors.
- Install your gateway close to the Wi-Fi access point and make sure it kept dry and at room temperature.
- Make sure to keep the metal opening at the front of the sensor covered in high humidity environments.
- If your sensor falls, make sure to re-install immediately and press the button on the sensor to reconnect to the system.
Reminder β If your sensor has lost connection, press the button on the sensor to trigger a solid light. If there is no light, contact PathSpot Support at 718-550-0040
