Care Guide for PathSpot Temperature Sensors

Your PathSpot LoRaWAN sensors are made to resist backoff house operations and unit conditions. But like all electronics, there are a couple of simple caring guides to make sure your unit lasts several years.

  1. Do not power wash the sensors.
  2. Make sure to not submerge the sensor in water.
  3. Keep your sensor in an area where it is not susceptible to impact.
  4. Although your sensor can withstand a wide range of temperatures, it should be kept within the range of
    -40ΒΊF and 240ΒΊF.
  5. If you are using a probe to monitor temperatures, make sure the cable is not pinched by any doors.
  6. Install your gateway close to the Wi-Fi access point and make sure it kept dry and at room temperature.
  7. Make sure to keep the metal opening at the front of the sensor covered in high humidity environments.
  8. If your sensor falls, make sure to re-install immediately and press the button on the sensor to reconnect to the system.

Reminder – If your sensor has lost connection, press the button on the sensor to trigger a solid light. If there is no light, contact PathSpot Support at 718-550-0040
